“Arezzo
and Cortona... still Tuscany and already Umbria. Genius
twice over” ( Berenson
)
We
are located on the borders between southern Tuscany and
Umbria within close proximity to Lake Trasimeno.
The
areas of Cortona – Castiglion Fiorentino, form a typical
Tuscan and Vasarian landscape with villages built around a
castle not far from a Romanesque Church and surrounded by
cypress trees. Blessed with countless art and historical
treasures by famous artists such as Vasari, Luca Signorelli
and Piero della Francesca, it is an inspirational location
with stunning views and Mediterranean light to capture the
imagination and enrich the spirit.
Cortona is rich in Art, Spirituality, History and natural beauty. You will
feel inspired by historic buildings, Etruscan Tombs still
being excavated and art in evidence everywhere.
